born in 1958 in Oelsnitz/Vogtland.

1974 - 1979 studied - saxophone and flute - at the "Hanns Eisler Academy of Music", Berlin.

Since 1977 he has worked with the following groups: Fusion, Uwe Kropinski Quartet, Jazz Orchestra of the German Democractic Republic, East Berlin Guest Orchestra, Ta Lam Acht (Eight), Radio Big Band Berlin, New Jungle Orchestra, Sema & Taksim, Volker Schlott Quartet, U. Kropinski, D. Koehnlein, Pamagiera.

Since 1985 - his own solo program, "Reeds Solo".

Workshops, with among others: John Tchicai, Cecil Taylor, Harry Beckett, Pierre Dorge, Bobby Previte, Toni Lakatos, Joachim Kuehn, Herbert Joos, Wolfgang Fiedler, Simon Nabatov, Tony Oxley.

Tours and Festival performances in: Europe, Australia, Asia, South America, USA and Canada.

Since 1992 he is an instructor at the "Hanns Eisler Academy of Music", Berlin

1987 - second prize at the Belgian International Jazz Competition with the group, the "East Berlin Orchestra".

1990 - winner of the the Berlin Senate´s "Studio Competition".

1996 - third prize at the "Hennessy-Jazz Contest", with the "R.v. Nordenskjoeld Orchestra".

1996 - winner of the annual Gemany Record Critics Award, with the Volker Schlott Quartet, "Why Not" (AMR).

1997/98 intensive collaboration with Mikis Theodorakis and Maria Farantouri (a world tour and three record releases)

born in 1964 in Neuruppin.

1978 - 1984 studied - saxophone and clarinet - at the "Hans Eisler Academy of Music", Berlin.

Since 1993 - founder of the "Falk Breitkreuz Trio" and a member of the group, "Neuwirth".

Since 1995 - a member of the "Rolf von Nordenskjold Orchestra".

Since 1996 - a member of the group, "Just for Brass".

1989 - 1991 - in the Friedrichstadtpalast Orchestra, Berlin and since 1991 the first alto saxophonist in the Film Orchestra Babelsberg.

1989 - 1995 - a teaching position at the "Hanns Eisler Academy of Music", Berlin.

1996 - third prize at the "Hennessy-Jazz Contest", with the "R.v. Nordenskjoeld Orchestra".

Since 1998 - a member of the "Fun Horns".

born in 1962 in Kleinmachnow.

1979 - 1983 studied - classical trombone - at the "Hans Eisler Academy of Music", Berlin.

Since 1981 - intensive work with Modern Jazz and Contempory Art Music.

Since 1986 - work with Hannes Zerbe on several literary music programs, for example, "MERZ-Jazz".

He has worked with the following groups: Pierre Dorge´s, New Jungle Orchestra, Gabriele Hasler´s Personal Notebook, Klaus Koenig Orchestra, East Berlin Guest Orchestra, Inner Visuals - (a duo with the guitarist, Wolfgang Schmiedt), Independent Ways - (a duo with the cellist, Peter Koch), and Electronics and Voice working together with Billy Jenkins VOGC.

Workshops, with among others: John Tchicai, Cecil Taylor, David Murray, Urs Bloechlinger, Alexander von Schlippenbach, Joachim Ulrich, Samui Nori, Ars Baltica Jazz Ensemble.

1993/94 - a scholarship from the Berlin Senate for the "Huke Pack", with Wolfgang Mitterer, Peter Koch, Claudio Puntin and Bob Rutman.

Since 1996 - he has been working as a producer/composer for Film and Theater music.

1997 - Production and Composition of "Princess Troublemaker" - "Deep Trance" with Wolfgang Schmiedt.

Nikolaus Neuser is a trumpet player and composer based in Berlin. Born in 1972 in Siegen, he studied at the Folkwang Hochschule Essen with Uli Beckerhoff. Besides the Fun Horns he leads his Quintet (with Silke Eberhard, Gerhard Gschlössl, Mike Majkowski und Bernd Oezsevim) and is a member of Potsa Lotsa (plus), I am Three, Hannes Zerbe Jazz Orchester and the Satoko Fujii Orchestra Berlin.He has played concerts and/or has recorded with musicians such as Benny Bailey, Theo Jörgensmann, Patrick Braun, Jiggs Whigham, Ernst-Ludwig Petrowsky and can be heard on over 50 CD’s so far.He has toured China, Thailand, Vietnam, Nordafrika, Libanon, USA and throughout Europa, and was guestprofessor for Jazz in Colombia in 2005 und 2007 at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana de Bogotá.
